i did it!!
so i finally did it! i was going to go with the s5, but my local dealers would take nothing off making the cost of the car over 62k with tax. Alil too much for me right now! well i placed an order for a 2010 white s4 with automatic, navigation pkg, and audi care for 49,360. This is 1500 over invoice and if you include the dealer prep fees and other fees the dealer pays audi. its actually alil under a 1000 over invoice. Pretty happy with that price considering im a first time audi owner. Car will be here february 25 2010. I cant wait!!! what does everyone think about the price, good deal? i live on long island btw

no i did not. To me, it wasnt worth the money. Im 24 and to be able to get myself into this car without going into debt, i had to keep it around the price i got the car for. I just want the car to take off, the sport diff to me just wasnt worth it.

You got it for a pretty good price. It kills me that I paid $52k OTD for my A4 last year and people are now getting S4's for cheaper. I wish I had the patience to wait a year. I guess I'll have to wait for 2011 when my lease is up.

wow man, the guy told me he would sell me any a4 for invoice price no questions asked. See if you can get rid of your lease with 6 months left to get into a s4. Or if you dont want to wait, go to swapalease.com or lease trader and try to get rid of our lease. I got into a lease that way and it worked out perfect. You can give an incentive or 2 months by paying the person 2 payments to take over your lease and that way you can get into a s4?

I know, audi leases are terrible right now. Will definitely purchase next time. Most likely an S4 or S5, but would consider the M3 if the price was tempting.
Does anyone know if there are dealers that would buy me out of my lease?

If you do something like swapalease (to get out of an Audi lease), your name is never removed, so if the person defaulted, you'd still be on the hook. That means it's not even worth considering, IMO...
