Yeah it's the same inter cooler. I bought and installed the OEM piece a week after I got the car. I highly recommend making your own mesh protector. The OEM piece is cheap plastic, and costs 100x more than it's worth. It looks like it doesn't offer any protection. I will be making my own mesh protector to compliment the OEM P.O.S.

Just wondering why it is taking so long? They told be it was a 4hr job. Usually they can get the part in a day. Mine took a day for the part. Had the car back the next day.

They've told me the intercooler plastic screen arrive until Thursday. The actual intercooler is in inventory. They are putting the OEM screen on as part of the repair.

Car is back! Dealer had it ready a day earlier than promised.

It feels a little slower than before by the butt dyno. I must be imagining it.

DIY screen goes in this weekend.

Knopf has been known for detuning cars when they are in for service. J/K. I personally have never had any problems with their service. BUT,I can never get a good deal to buy a car from them. Last time I was in the market for a new Audi, my wife told me not to bother even going there. Used to buy Pontiacs from them in the 70s
