Jason ran his car in 3rd gear for the dyno he posted. Suprised he ran yours in 4th. Not enough air cooling to 4th gear dyno for S4 IMO (need a fan than goes up to 120 MPH).

remember also.... Audi claims 333hp between 5500-7000 rpm, which could be true. They just do not mention the peak hp rating, which would be somewhere within that rpm range...

BMW did it with the 335 so at first it wouldn't cannibalize E46 M3 sales, and later E90/2 M3 sales. The RS4 will likely be rated in the neighbourhood of ~450 hp. Why would someone spend an extra $15-20k if the advertised hp spread between the S and RS is only 50 hp? It's easier to command a steeper premium the greater the hp difference.
