not when you factor in the inherent loss in value that you get automatically from having had paint work done and the fact that it's really hard to get a factory-quality respray

How does this stuff (clear bra) hold up/effect a detail - when I'm using a clay bar/wax/etc? Thx.

You can clay bar and wax the clear bra but you shouldn't polish it (too abrasive). I don't really see a reason to clay bar it tho', just a good wash & wax.

I paid $550 for a typical front end application with 3M Ventureshield, so OP seems like a fair price.

dropped it off this morning. Went with the CTX 30 tint all the way around and fenders/24 in of hood/ bumper clear bra....should be picking the car back up tomorrow. Apparently they can't apply the PPF on the mirrors since its not technically a painted surface?

Get some Premier PF1 Cleaner, TTR, and Crystalline and you'll be good to go. No need to wax or clay.

love it so far..he did a great job, it was 878 for tint all the way around and clear bra 24 in up hood, fenders, bumper, and mirrors (he was able to figure out how to do it). There is one small bubble in the passenger window that i'm hoping will go away in a few days as the film dries but if not he will fix it. Tint came with a lifetime warranty and PPF came with a 7 year warranty.....as you can see, you can't even tell the PPF is on the car
