100+ posts later I finally ordered an S4. I should have it July 13th. Luckily there was already a car in production with the options I wanted. Ibis white, prestige, rear diff, nappa, supercharged badge.

I'm looking forward to trying this whole new HD radio thing too, and I'm curious to what other 'tweeks' they might have done to improve the car. I'm talking about things that might have been failing on the 2010 that they fixed, like the control on vibrations or whatever.

I'm going to be putting on the H&R OE Sport springs (about 1.25" drop) as soon as I get the car.

Where are you (or what dealer did you order from) that had such an early delivery? Dealers I'm talking to don't seem to know when their orders will be fulfilled, with most of them simply saying late August or into September....

Do dealers really not know? Or is there something in the system that tells them what week it should be produced (like the way BMW dealers seem to know)? I had noticed that Audi dealers are a bit more "clueless" than a BMW dealer as to what week a car is scheduled to be built.

krunko: will your car be 2010 or 11? I placed my order earlier than you and the dealer told me August, maybe July in the best case scenario. According to the dealer, my car will be in the first batch of 2011's stateside. Either way, congrats! I also ordered Ibis white with nappa- best color IMO.

The sales person at the dealer does not seem to have any idea, but I called AOA
with my commission number ( phone 1-800-822-2834) and they gave me shipping date (July6), port date(Aug2), trucking date and finally dealer estimated arrival of about Aug 9th. I ordered in April.

Port date might be July but I bet release to dealer won't be til August.

+1. Placed my order about a month ago, was told it would hit port at the end of July and to expect delivery in the beginning of August, possibly earlier if Audi decides to release the 2011's early due to demand and the availability of 2010's.

They just happened to have one already ordered with the options I wanted and it was one of their first 2011 cars. I got the zag.com pricing and then talked to the fleet manager at Keyes Audi. My interior is black nappa.
