Default Just swapped wheels and tires

I have been working on a deal to swap my 18" wheels/tires for a set of 19" Rs4 type from an A4 S-line. Finally got together today to do the deal. My wheels for his PLUS $250. Both cars with 3k miles on the odometer. Both parties happy with the deal. Other owner wants the 18's for his winter set up. Is planning to get the 20" Stasis mesh wheels which I think are white hot! Couple of comments. The 19" wheels look perfect on this car. Don't know why they can't be had as an option. Like the OEM 5 spoke 19s but love these.
The ride is a little less compliant, but that is to be expected. Nowhere near as bad as on the B6 S4 with 18s. I notice that the S line and OEM 18s had different lug bolts. The S-line had 1 piece lugs and the 18s had a 2 piece construction with a moveable washer . Looked similar but we also swapped the lugs with the wheels. I don't get the plastic covers for the lugs. It would seem to me to a nice looking lug bolt head would be better than plastic caps. BTW, the tires are the Dunlop maxx tires. One more mod to work on(Miltek

Ugh, so jealous... I love those wheels... Not a fan of the B8 S4 19"s at all...

Anyone in the Boston area want to swap? =P

I didn't like either the OEM 19's or 18's. However, I thought the 18's looked better than the 19's, so got those. before my car arrived, bought some aftermarket 18 wheels/tires. sold my stock 18 wheels/tires a few weeks ago.

Looks great. I, too, wish those wheels were available on the S4

With my original 2010 A4 Prestige order, the RS4 wheels were my all time favorite wheels and I ordered them without the S-Line package. But, with S4 ownership, the stock trispoke (RS6) 19s have grown on me to such an extent - that I now favor them over the RS4 wheels; esp. on the S4. Both are beautiful wheels; with RS4 wheels being a bit more elegant, while the RS6 wheels have a more complex and articulated design look that's more "boss" and in your face. It depends what look you want your S4 to have.

These A4 S-Line wheels on the B8 S4 are pure SEX. I will be acquiring them no doubt about it.

Those look great! Something about the proportions just work right. Especially loving it on those last two side shots. Really suits the car.

I have those in the 18' size for my winter set up from VMR. Can't wait! Hope mine looks 1/2 as good as yours! Your ride looks awesome!
