so far, it looks like it's not on the 10's. I'll be at my dealer tomorrow getting snows on my Q7, and i'll talk to the SA. He's pretty straight up with me.

It definitely works. Never felt the car launch like that before. I was reading on Audizine that it cut someones time by .4 seconds with LC. He got a time of 4.79 seconds 0-60. Can someone please update this number if you have an ECU flash (Stasis, APR....)

I was able to LC without turning the car off.

Put your car into Dynamic
ASR off
Keep your foot on the brake
Be in either D or M mode (corrected)
Floor it (your car should be at 3k at this point)
Let your foot off the brake
Have your neck brace on and enjoy

No need to switch from D to M. Works either way. The other steps are all required.

Does it go right away after you release the brakes? or it stalls for 1/2 sec? This would be pretty cool to use at a red light next to M3s and stuff =]

So far it has only been proven to work on MY 11 cars.... Us 2010 S4's will remain the SLOW ones! LOL Hopefully, will be able to get the feature in the future....

be curious to see if any car mags utilize this feature when (if) reviewing the 2011, and note any time improvements......

Did you get a chance to ask the SA about LC for 2010's?

I know this doesn't help you guys with the automatic, but the 2010 manual has launch control:

clutch in, car in gear, throttle to the floor. The car will hold at 3000 RPM. dump the clutch and hang on.
