  • 15,000 miles
  • 25,000 miles
  • 35,000 miles
  • 45,000 miles

Most of the "services" are just checks, not much other than glancing at stuff. On the S4, it seems pollen and dust filter, plus oil changes are about it. It would appear that they might change brake fluid at two year intervals.
Spark plug replace @ 35k and Change ATF (for CVT) are included as well.

So, 4 oil/filter changes, 1 ATF change, 1 set of spark plug replaced, 2 brake fluid changes. Is it worth $790

Default On the S4, it does not have CVT

It does not say spark plug change for the S4 (see note 3 on on some models), and no transmission fluid change on S4 either.

I stand corrected on the spark plugs. I wasn't looking at the maintenance schedule, only the Audit Care brochure. However, per the maintenance schedule you linked to, the ATF is changed at 35/75/115, no model designation. Audi Care brochure states that the ATF is changed. Isn't S-tronic considered a cvt?

Default The CVT is not the same as S-Tronic DSG

""Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)
Multitronic® is a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with a steel link-plate chain running in tension in an oil bath between two pairs of bevel wheels of variable diameter.
....................................
S tronic, the Audi revolutionary direct shift gearbox (formerly DSG) combines the advantages of a conventional six-speed manual-shift gearbox with the qualities possessed by a modern automatic transmission. The driver enjoys immense agility and driving pleasure with, at the same time, smooth, dynamic acceleration with no interruption to the power flow.

The technical basis of the S tronic is a double clutch. This consists of two wet plate-type clutches with hydraulically regulated contact pressure. One of the two clutches engages the odd-numbered, the other the even-numbered gears. ""

Thanks for the education m444.

NABS4,
Kind of illogical to only allow editting after a minimum post count.

Default I think it is to prevent troll hit and runs

After you have made a number of posts it won't matter.

You can preview and proofread before you, if you cannot edit - future posts.

that is not the case at all NABS4. editing rights are not turned on by default since SW switch, you need to request edit rights on a post you will see at the top of the feedback forum. Kris Hansen will hook you up.
