Loud whistle on startup!!

Loud whistle on startup!!
Hi all,
Got an interesting issue. Had my dsg gearbox changed under warranty and they also replaced the thermostat since my waterpump had failed previously.
Notice now that when starting first thing in the morning, there is a loud whistle noise, that runs for about 10 seconds then stops.
It only does it if the car has not been run for several hours.
I don't remember this noise before, and wondered if it was just my poor memory - has anyone else had this?
I hope my suspicions are not correct - some issue with the supercharger.........................
Going to record the noise tomorrow morning, and take it to the dealer to see what they say.
