MMI and Mix (Shuffle) memory

MMI and Mix (Shuffle) memory
I've seen many people with the same problem so why not post another thread about it to get some more exposure.
I have my iPod Touch attached through the cord in the glovebox. I like to shuffle my songs or playlists. Each time I restart the car, the mix (shuffle) setting turns off.
The playlist also starts from the top (after the car loses the "memory" of what I was playing last) meaning I hear the same friggin' song every time I start the vehicle.
Any way to fix this or a way to request this as an update from Audi. From what I've read, the 2G MMI remembered the Mix setting.

i hate this also. i wonder if you set your ipod to shuffle, it'll shuffle it. i havent tried this yet because some of my playlists are DJ mixes so i don't want to change this on the ipod.

yup, hate this too.
moreover, recently ive noted that the "random shuffle" isnt really random either. once i hear a song, the next song in the sequence is the same as it was before. argh.
its more like "random playlist generator"
