I was wondering, if I flashed the CPU and got lets say 410-430 hp and 370-380 lbs/ft torque in the car (which is what MTM and Stassis are advertising) but kept the same suspension (have sport diff. but no drive select). Would the car's handing and cornering suffer?? Just a concern of mine with adding more torque/horsepower to the vehicle. I really love its handling and cornering and dont want to take it to such a limit that the sport diff. would lose its effect or be overwhelmed. It corners so nicely as it is. Thanks!!

In short, no. Remember how a traction circle works. It will be the same with a chip. Handeling and cornering are seperate from straight line acceleration.

So even if your accelerating around a corner with that extra torque it shouldn't overwhelm the handling of the vehicle?? Not really educated about the traction circle theory you mentioned...

traction circle is a way to look at our cars handeling performance. Basically is the G's your car can accommodate acceleration, braking, and cornering. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circle_of_forces or google traction circle.
