A contract is only enforceable when two parties exchange value as agreed. You give them money, they provide wheels by a stated date. As soon as they fail to perform to their end of the value proposition, in this case delivering as promised, the contract is void and can be rescinded by the other party.

The credit card company cannot ignore that the contract is voided and would have had no choice but to refund your money and charge back the amount to the dealer. You apparently have plenty of documentation to prove your case.

Why you didn't realize this is puzzling, particularly with the multitude of advice given here to cut bait and cancel the purchase and consequently, I'm also not sure what you had hoped to gain by posting this thread since you basically chose to ignored the responses. I suspect you were emotionally tied to these particular wheels despite your long explanation to the contrary.

Hope you don't have other issues with the wheels and it all works out for you. Good luck.

Dispute over... money back. Case closed.

If you want to keep on going with it, that's your call...
Not exactly, and it is not that simple when it comes to large credit card disputes (over 3K in my case). Again not sure if you have done it before but it takes quite a few phone calls, email printing, documents gathering/signing and arguing with “Dispute Specialists”. At least it always did for me with the exception of AMEX.

Your argument is absolutely valid if I attempted to cancel 1 month ago and not now when the wheels are waiting for pickup. The fact that I waited that much was influenced by few posts on Audizine where people had similar delays with custom wheels which made me feel “better” about my wait time. In some cases the wait was significantly more and was stated by the manufacturer at the time of purchase.

At this point there is no need to go over the cancelation of the order since as I said MORR came back and rectified the situation in a manner that worked well for me. Notice MORR not Campioni.

Lol... rectified when you get your wheels... which you haven't. You have way more patience than I do my friend. I've never had an issue with disputing claims, so no I don't share your lengthy experience. I'm not exactly sure why you're believing what they're telling you now since they've been inaccurate in the past. Could take them another 3 months for the center caps for all you know.

You definitely deserve something extra from them for sticking this out...
