Moving to a C7 variant?
Given the current state of my S4 lease (in the black, as it were) and Audi's seeming desire to get me out of it, I've been contemplating moving to either an A6 or S6, 2013 variety.
Any thoughts here? I have an A6 prestige (loaded) as a loaner car at the moment, and I love the next gen MMI (spotify FTW!) and the general upgrades in the controls/dash/etc. Even in sport mode, however, it is a quite bit more sedate than the S4, which I suppose would be obvious. The S-version would most likely solve this, as well as a couple of other nagging things I've discovered so far, namely:
- the slushbox tranny
- the sofa-like seats
- the "i wanna be invisible" styling
Figuring on about a 7k premium (or roughly 10%) for the S, I'm leaning that way. But, the premium jumps to about $12k when you figure that Audi is unlikely to offer Supplier Discounts or Loyalty on the S, and the price is likely to be "sticker, take it or leave it".
Thoughts?

This, I would get an S6 in a freaking heartbeat! Has the same engine as the new S7 and S8, and is rated 100HP less than the S8. Tune that baby up to S8 or higher specs and with the lower weight of the A6 body, you will eat any S8 for lunch.

If you like the performance of the S4 you may not find it difficult to accept the A6 sport. While it is nice (especially the technology), it is missing some of the sport qualities like seats, steering and shifting.
