i for one am very excited about this engine. Of course the m3 will pull aaway at the end but who drives that fast all the time anyways.

should look at the same M3 race a BMW 335i JB3. That was sick. Hopefully our tuners can do the same.

The S4 had 430hp, so why did the 414hp M3 walk away from it at the end?

Very impressive overall though...definitely a lot of potential with the 3.0T.

I just noticed that the M3 is riding solo and the S4 has a passenger. Adding potentially another 200lbs on top of the S4 already being about 300-400lbs heavier than the M3...makes a little more sense now.

The M3 could also be quicker higher up b/c it is a V8, so it has "longer legs".

Why did it walk at the end? 6 speeds instead of 7 is one guess, the S4 is supposed to be more efficient, so having taller gears up high will drive this, and only affect acceleration near the top end.

I can live with this performance, since short of taking this to the track all the time, who is going to be spending time around 100+ MPH with the pedal floored?

the m3 doesnt make a showing until almost 20 seconds into the hard drag.

these kids have to be doing close to a 150mph at that point?

real world...nice pull away by the s4.

and yes...looks like there were two guys in the s4 and just the one guy working the camera in the m3.
