Ya, i see what you mean. Thanks for the pics. I think i am going to play this one safe and scratch the gray birch. Its definitely not what I thought it would be, plus, wood trim variations often occur, although in this case, I think it can definitely be said to have some sort of brown variation

I have to say... I think the wood finish looks terrible. I thought the gray might look good, but imo, it doesn't.

I stuck with aluminum, but since I got the Ti package, my car will apparently come with a piano black surround around the center console. I wish that would have been aluminum as well, but oh well. Wish in one hand, crap in the other...see which one fills up faster.

Yes, I would prefer it to be a darker and more gray color, though I like it overall. It looks brown in bright light, but with my 35% tint, it appears significantly darker than in those shots I took pre-tint and with a flash on.
