Default New S4 Owner

Recently purchased a 2016 S4, Black Optics Package. Previously owned an 2009 Infiniti G37x Sport which I thought was the pinnacle until now. I have about 1500 miles so far and absolutely LOVE it. This is the holy grail of motoring.

Welcome and enjoy. BTW, what do you feel are the biggest upgrades on the S4 VS G37x?

Congrats...I myself bought a used 2012 S4 recently...coming from 2008 BMW 335i. I love this car, handles and accelerates like a dream.

Default G37 vs S4

Major difference is handling and pickup. G37 feels bigger and suspension feels softer, and even though base horsepower is appx the same (330+/-) the S4 seems to get off the line quicker.
As far as technology goes the G37 had all of the same "bells and whistles" as the S4 has.
The trunk opening is bigger on S4 which is great.
I have alcantera seats on S4 which are also an upgrade over full leather on G37.

I test drove the new Q50x Sport (new G37) as a loaner and it is definitely nice and equipment pretty much matches S4, but IMO major reason to change brands is the performance and the drive of an Audi.

.
The 333 HP rating for the S4 is very conservative. Most believe it is around 380hp based on the performance it delivers.

Wouldn't dyno ratings reflect that horsepower then? If HP was higher why wouldn't Audi reveal that?
