Default New Sub setup for my S4 - JL Audio 10w7 Prowedge & JL Audio 500/1

Hello all-

Wanted to post some pics of my new setup. JL Audio 10w7 prowedge and JL Audio 500/1v2 Mono Amp. The sound is insane. So deep and still hits drum solos on Rush 2112! Ludicris "How Low" is an experience all in itself. I had originally done the B&O sub change out (thanks to Brandonb and NWS4guy!!!) But after hearing Neal's bass and some others I had to make the full deal. Now its bordering to loud! LOL!!! I'm still tuning so it is getting better daily. I can just pop out the box if I need more room so it is pretty versatile - although not as cool looking as the concealed side fiberglass boxes. I still love it though.

Cheers!

Steve

Default Stealthy remote bass **** placement!

Almost forgot my stealthy RBC-1 bass **** placement under the armrest. There is a dead plug available for install there. I don't fiddle with it too much but very accessible if need be.

Can't tell if it is ported or sealed box. I go with a sealed for tighter bass. Using a Boston Acoustic 10 dual voice coil at 2 ohms with Alpine 600W. And still need to retune as well. However using the Alpine processor with software and spectrum analyzer makes it a snap.

How is the JL? I hear good things about them. Nice choice on the Rush btw.

Its a sealed box. It is super heavy and really well made. I have someone helping with the tuning tomorrow but its pretty close.

Rush 2112? Old school. Nice Milltek exhaust.

I've got two JL Audio Fathom F113s in my HT system. If JL Audio's car products sound anything like the subs in my theater, then, well, holy c****t! Must be awesome.

Looks great man! I'm amazed at how even stock there are NO rattles, the car is well built and tight.

I still have to put up pictures of mine, I have the same sub with a fiberglassed install on the left side wheel gap area, can't really tell there's anything in the trunk. Also have a 2nd JL 10' W7 in a sealed box for added sound. Nice sub though
