Noise like something loose or fluid moving around behind center console in stop/go.

I have this noise behind the middle front vents, sounds like something loose or fluid that moves around in stop and go traffic. Totally goes away if I turn off the climate control. This has happened since I bought the car. It's like the same noise of fluid or whatever moving around behind the middle front vents if you start the car with the climate control on if the car has not been run in a few days. Anyone else hear this sound or maybe thing they know what it is? It's really apparent when accelerating from a dead stop, like something loose or fluid moving back behind the vents. Again, I can turn the climate control to "off" and the noise goes away.

I get just a little bit of that when I first start up in the morning but it quickly goes away. Never was a big deal. I figured it was just a bit air in the heating system. Perhaps you can get the dealer to purge the cooling system since your's seems much worse.

Mine makes no noise whatsoever, so it is definitely something unusual with your car. My guess, too, is that you have some air in the system. Sure the dealer can fix it up for you.

Thank you so much for these thoughts. It's been a mystery to me what this is and "air bubbles" within what sounds like fluid sounds to me like a reasonable explanation of what this sounds like.

By the way what specifically should I tell the dealer to do? Should I ask them to literally "purge the cooling and heating system of air bubbles"?
I've brought it in before but they "couldn't replicate it" of course so I'd like to go in their with some knowledge. I really think you are spot on with the air bubbles.
