Has anyone else noticed that if a song that's playing doesn't have a title for Siruis XM, the in-dash screen says "Sirius XMnull". It kind of worries me that there is software running in my car that doesn't check for simple things like no title available :P

Yeah, as a computer programmer I can tell you that null = things not being checked.

Never happened to me on BPM. Guess whatever station you listen to even the programmers dont like LOL.

I've had this happen before too on my 2011. Seems to be transient though and they just didn't spend enough time hunting down the bug to fix it. Hopefully, it will be fixed in the next SW revision.

I have a computer engineering background as well.

Its on my 2011 through Sirius.......irritating because my wife keeps asking me about it......

I get this as well from the wife, she like to make fun of me for spending 60k on a car that does not function properly. The sirius in her 2008 VW passat wagon is flawless... Go figure.

This has happened many times in my 2011 A4. Any Sirius radio station. But not all the time. When it happens though, it remains until the car is turned off. If "null" shows up at startup it stays on. If it's not there, it won't appear.
"SiriusXM Chillnull"
"Spanull"
"BPMnull"

I have found that if I change from sirius to FM and back when this happens it clears the null issue out until next time. Also I only get the null issue when the car is started with limited or no satellite reception.

How long does the dealer subscription to sirus last? We've had our car since June, and haven't paid a dime to sirius, and still going strong...
