One more: Alcantar vs. Leather
So - getting close to pullint the trigger.
I have two cars, 1k apart in MSRP: PB, Nav, Sport Diff, B&O, Smart Keat, Carbon, Camaera....
One has Alcantara, on Leather. I vaselate between the two. Seems i can't go wrong - trying to here points of view (Alcantara, not too hot, not too cold); leather, more classic, luxury, easy to clean.
Thoughts?? (humor me). I really can't decide. Gut tells me leather is the safe choice -

After having leather in my past cars for the previous 20 years and now my first Alcantara, I can honestly tell you if I have the option moving forward, Ill never do leather again. I LOVE Alcantara.

I love both honestly. Wish alcantara came in more color combos, but the primary reason I went with leather is the 3 year old who occasionally rides in the back.

Since I currently have an '11 A4 S-line with alcantara, I can tell you that I really like it. It's never too cold or to hot. However I am beginning to contemplate a '12 S4 and thus far have my mind set on the leather. I love the magma leather, it makes the interior of the S4 so unique. Another consideration with alcantara is the stitching. You don't get contrast stitching on the seats like you do when you order leather. After having an S-line with alcantara and contrast stiching and sitting in an alcantara s4, it didnt pop that much when compared to my current car. Basically my thoughts are if I want to buy an additional Audi which is an upgraded model then I want the interior to exceed my current car. Just personal preference. Hope this helps.

Leather can be had all day, every day, in most any car on the road. The Alcantara is, in my opinion, one of the things that set these cars apart from the pack. I love my Alcantara seats.

I agree - alcantara is "unique" and sporty (sounds practical too) and keeps this interesting...surprised this is such a hard decision - two identical cars, one with alcantara and one with leather. I know there are better things to worry about, but no matter how you slice it, North of $50k makes you think twice :-)
Reading the various forums, looks like I'm not the only one. Additng the contrast stiching would be nice...
