Default Ordered TI Package but considering Chrome window trim; Anyone want to swap?

My car gets here in Dec., but the more pics I see of Ice Silver S4 the more I like it with the chrome window trim. Does anyone with a 2011 S4 have any interest in possibly swapping their chrome with my black window trim? I spoke with a rep at Europrice and he said it was doable. I'd rather swap than buy a whole new trim and I figure someone on here might want the black trim for their s4.

I heard the trim costs about $700 labor to install & new trim parts are about $1300. I had my trim Vinyl wrapped.

How did you do the front grille?

The black satin grille, with black chrome came from ECSTuning. I painted the fog surrounds and the front splitter.

You paint them yourself? If not what was cost of transforming the car?

When replacing the grille, it is easy to remove the front splitter for painting, likewise the fog surrounds are easy to remove, once the bumper cover has been removed. I used plastic compatible spray paint.

I also removed and painted the rear splitter (flat) and blade (gloss).

Purchased primed side mirror covers for an A4, then had them painted by an Audi body shop to match Ibis white and installed by the Audi body shop.

The most expensive part of these changes was the mirror covers, then the grille, then the wrap (cheap). Total was maybe $1k.

Very nice. I was thinking of doing all said things except mirror covers.. I want to buy the power retracting ones first then get them painted to match. Was it tough to get rear components off the car?

BaLLZDeePNYC,

The rear diffuser (valence) panel comes off relativly easy. There are 3 Torx screws underneath and a lot of interlocking plastic tabs that attach the diffuser panel to the upper bumper cover. Start at one end and carefully, but firmly unzip it from the upper bumper cover, then do the other end (about the first 10" of each end). One needs to be firm and gentle removing it. Be careful around the corners The back part unzips pretty easy once the ends are free.

Once it is off, there are a number of screws on the backside, holding the blade on the diffuser panel.

The diffuser panel goes back together in reverse order, but zip in the ends first.
