Has anyone come up with a solution to get rid of the orange passenger airbag off light?? The orange glow really does wreck the otherwise wonderful interior lighting at night. During the day I don't really notice it but at night I always notice it. Any ideas???

I'm 100% with you although I think we're in the minority. I hate it that light! Canadian market cars don't have it and most respondants with U.S. cars pretty much told me to suck it up and they didn't know why I was complaining. My personal favorite response was to have someone sit in the passenger seat all the time. ?!?!

Can't you just swap out the emergency flasher from the Canadian model. Keep the warning light connected, re route it and leave it hidden under the dash and keep it connected so you don't throw a code.

Certainly might work. Not sure how difficult the removal and install would be. Could there be a VAG-COM solution since the Canadian cars don't have it???

As the guys on NPR's "Car Talk" would recommend for any annoying warning light, duct tape.
