Default permanent ipod
I liked the ipod integration and got tired of pulling it out to take into work. Solution - just got a second ipod so the original stays with the car!

Me too. I leave my iPod classic in the car and carry my iPod touch where ever I need to.

same here, old click wheel ipod stays in car. Then I use SD cards for quick updates for things like podcasts.

Have Audi addressed the problem where if you turn off the car and then turn it back on it does not resume your randomized iPod playlist?

I don't think so... I've even asked my buddy at AoA to report this "bug" along with the radio presets one.

No, it will forget if the car is off more than 10-20 minutes, whether on Jukebox, AMI interface or SD cards.

Not stock or with Vag-Com, but a guy posted shots and a shop in the northeast which reprogrammed and wired his MMI to accept the iPod as an external source, which allowed this.
