Default Pictures of new Red S4

Picked it up today. Had 2 surprises. Dealer included AudiCare at no extra charge. Also agreed to paint the license plate filler the same color as the body N/C. V6T emblem already debadged. Next project is to either paint or vinyl wrap the alum trim around the instrument cluster. If I can actually figure out how to get it off without ruining anything,

The front license plate filler in the middle of the grille? Paint it red, or gray?

6MT/ Black Leather/ CF trim/ Sport dif. I am especially impressed with the sport dif. Took some corners at moderate speed in dynamic mode and car felt like it was on rails. Also am completely happy with the standard radio. IMHO, it is better than the Bose in my B6 S4 and the Logic 7 in my 335i. But I have a tin ear won't argue with anyone who thinks otherwise. 18" wheels are growing on me. Just didn't LOVE the design of the OEM 19s. Still thinking about some 19" RS4 reps or some Hartmann Euromesh wheels.

If you look at the pictures, the dealer removed the horizontal filler plate. It exposes the horizontal plate used to mount a European license plate . I am having the filler plate that fits over that painted the same color as the body leaving the metal trim unpainted. It clips on over the gray horizontal member that you see in my picture. Usually it is the same color gray. But there also is a gloss black available.

Oh, that makes sense. I'll have that same trim plate installed on mine, as PA doesn't require front plates.
