Polarized Sunglasses and Navigation Screen

This may be a silly question to some, but my S4 is being built this month and will be here in June. I ordered new prescription sunglasses today and had polarized lenses put in. I'm now worried because in my current 08 CTS I can still read the nav with polarized lenses but in my car before that, I couldn't read the nav with polarized lenses. Any real world experience with the '10 S4 and the Nav screen? Thanks

I have polarized sunglasses and with the test drive I did in the 2010 S4 with navigation screen, I did not notice any polarization effects. Maybe it is the same polarization that used for sunglasses. I did not look for that by rotating my head 90 degrees.

I drive with (non-prescription) Oakley polorized sunglasses. No issues, as there is a standard for polarization. If you have them on and rotate your head 90 degrees to the side, it will totally black out the screen, right side up and the polarization is in synch and you are not blocking anything.

There was an easy fix. Just putting a sheet of clear overhead projector film over the screen(just affected the radio and not the nav) fixed the problem. I did it and it worked with polarized glasses.

Realize that not all polarized glasses are polarized in the same direction. One brand may allow you to see the screen while the other does not. It all depends on the orientation of the polarization. I have Ray Ban polarized - no issues.
