Does anyone know if it is possible to install the memory seat option on the base S4 at the dealer? Memory seats are a deal breaker but we could do without all the extras on the pricy prestige upgrade. I still can't believe memory seats are not standard on the premium plus level!

Dealer cannot/won't but there is some headway it seems with putting custom configs on the ECU to enable it on other models, check out the VAG-COM info.

I already tried once and further research shows that it is only vag-able on the A5/S5 since if that car doesn't have memory seats, it still retains some memory for when you bring the seat up for people to get into the back seat and then go back to its original position.

So it won't work.

Meh, that bites...I really don't like how some options are locked into packages with tons of other things you have no use for.
