Price check - 2011 Prestige

Friends, I am in the market for a car to replace my 2001 S4 which still is my daily driver after 247k miles.
The question is new or CPO used with low miles. I have priced out a '12 at MSRP $53025 with sport diff, B&O, rear bag, Nav and sensor. But I also found a '11 CPO with less than 5k miles. Is Prestige with pretty much everything. I priced it out retail at just around $63,000 (not sure about cruise or Napa silk). Asking price is $56k. Since I put on between 25-30k miles per year, the CPO has a real draw to me, even beyond the more optioned car. Thoughts? What do you think a fair price on the CPO would be.
Thanks
David
Edit: I miscalculated the retail of the 2011 by adding in the B&O and Nav as separate items when, in fact, they are part of the Prestige pkg. This brings down the retail from $62,695 to $59,295, with an invoice of $54,890, or about $1000 less than the asking price. Seems to me that this is perhaps what a savvy buyer paid for this car.

Not a screaming deal, but not crazy high either... These cars are doing very well so far holding their value... Plus the CPO warranty is worth close to $2k (not sure the actual cost to the dealer, but they do pay to CPO a car). Given your willingness to drive a car for a long time, I wouldn't worry so much about a couple thousand dollars as much as finding the car that you really want! If the CPO car is what you want from a color/option perspective, I say go for it!

I got a prestige that stickered at $59500 for $56000, and the only options I didn't get were the ADS and adaptive cruise. At the sticker you describe, the CPO probably has both AND the leather seats.
Overall, then, you'd get a car with the same warranty and $10,000 more in equipment than the new one, all for $3-4000 more. At the end of 10 years the fact it'd be an '11 vs. '12 will make no difference on resale

PS: I think on a new car $2500-3000 off msrp is reasonable. You should be able to get the order you describe for $50,000/50,500. I'd think you could get that CPO for around $54,000.
If you like the CPO's color and options enough, send the dealer an email telling them you'd take it for $54000 +/-. Don't talk to them on the phone or in person or they will waste your time. If they don't meet you where you want, leave them alone. They may come down after a few days......

What are all the options on the car? I have a pretty well loaded 2011 S4 prestige (see sig), and its MSRP was a bit over $62k - I paid $58k out the door, or about $150 over invoice.

That CPO car should sell for somewhere around $50K, IMO.

It's obvious that their ask is nuts. I would agree that anything over $50k is too much.
OTOH, they may get close to what they are asking. Someone comes in and doesn't know the car industry that well, sees a $60K sticker and that they can save $5k, and they are all over it.
