It was a joke. If someone is willing to pay $2400 for no improvement in performance, I was suggesting that I would be willing to sell the same thing for $500.

why don't you get the 380hp one and make sure you can upgrade it for $500. This way we can actually see if the 380bhp one makes any difference from stock and what stock is actually producing. Then pay $500 more and then get the upgrade and then see what it produces. This way you know what you are getting for your money.

Heh, well as Reigerman points out, till we get someone (not associated with MTM) to do a dyno pull on the same car and dyno as a before and after, we don't know that it's almost no gain.

Dude, for what it's worth I'll order one of those G-tech performance meters and give you guy's before and after. I don't have access to a dyno.

I've been very reluctant to enter the debate about the under/over factory rating of the vehicle being that I thought it was a nonsense conversation since it is all speculation.

I certainly will be able to provide the G-tech reading and the "seat of my pants" reading. I hope that helps push the conversation forward.

That would rock G-tech is better than a 'butt dyno' where someone says "It feels like it pulls harder here and has more throttle there."

This would at least be an apples to apples which we have yet to get so far

Got the email from Mike over at Hoppen. They will receive my unit towards the end of next week then overnight it to me. Hopefully I can pin my brother down on th 20th of this month for him to help me put it in. More to come.

You must be stoked. I'm very interested to see your before and after results. I won't even have the 'Before' until 12/28

Nice man! They have a pretty good walkthrough on Youtube that MTM produced to show how to install, doesn't look very hard, the worst part is popping the drivers side wheelwell cover loose a little.
