It should be documented in the purchase agreement when you actually buy/pick up the car.
Assuming you've ordered the car and want to give yourself a little piece of mind, either ask the salesperson/manager to write up something outlining the price you agreed to and sign it. When I ordered my 2010 A6, I summarized in a spreadsheet what I had agreed to with the sales person - MSRP as optioned, less all discounts (supplier disc., owner loyalty, and other agreed-to discount), less trade allowance, plus doc fee and sales tax, and emailed it to my sales advisor who confirmed back that he agreed to the final net price. When my car came in, I met with the finance manager and simply verified that the purchase agreement matched up with my spreadsheet, and signed the papers.

I would want something in writing from the dealer. Otherwise, he could reneg on the agreed price. Also if the car comes without an option that you ordered, you can make an issue of that. BTW, you can back out at any time and still get your deposit back. I hope you gave an deposit. It protects you from having the dealer change the order.

I will test drive the demo S4 once more to see the options I want. Thanks guys.
I'm excited and at the same time a bit stressed out with what options to put and then there's my Audi A6 which I will pre-trade with the dealer.

Yep, my dealer and I have signed a full "phony" contract to lock in the low APR and in spells out every penny down to processing fees and Audicare.
This way i can always pull it out if him or his financial guy get a case of D-Day amnesia.
