great look...
agree with a few others that gas cap looks out of place and takes away instead of adding to the look. rest of the car is a gem
congrats and thanks for sharing.

Absolutely stunning pic. Love the car. Makes me even more excited about my Matte Black V710s that I'm picking up later today! Can't wait to post some pics of my own later...

One of the best pics I've ever seen of an S4. Absolutely love the grey color, rims, and custom stuff you've done. Question: How did you get the custom two-tone rear diffuser? Just paid someone to paint it? I've been searching high and low for an alternate rear valence and haven't found anything satisfactory. Thanks for sharing your stuff with us, much appreciated!

Thanks again. The stock plastic grey looks awful on quartz so a custom paint job on the plate filler and diffuser felt like a must. The base of the diffuser is a darker, charcoal grey with the 3 insets painted matte black. I also hated how the 2 horizontal strips on the plate filler didn't sync with the natural lines of the car. A little bondo and sanding took care of that. The paint process was called "tinning" to get a depth similar to the mirror caps (which are also plastic, not stainless at all).

[QUOTE= ...not your fault that that mod has been cheapened by pep boys 99c fuel cap stickers. [/QUOTE]
Ouch. Haha. I promise I have a bit more class and attention to craftsmanship than that. It was a complete respray (see tinning above) with custom made chrome rivets that have a flush inset. I know many of you dislike it but at least it was well done for what it is. If you've seen the gas caps on the TT or R8 you know what look I was going for. And it does look better in person (ok that's my last defense).
