Radio comes on every time I start the car?
So, am I the only one this is happening to?
When I turn on the car, the radio comes on, even if I had shut it off before shutting the car off. Same for ipod, CD, and so on.
Maybe I'm just muting it? Seems odd...

Mine does the same but it saves me the trouble of turning on the radio so I don't mind. I assume that ipod & nav load automatically so that you have access to them immediately (when you want them) rather than pushing the button and then having to wait for them to load.

One girl was aking a doctor ...." I was with my friend last time and when we were sitting together I noticed something hard in his jeans pocket."

do you click the little button on top of the volume just once or do you hold it a few seconds to turn it off?
one click is mute, longer is off. Only thing is that it turns off the whole MMI so no nav either.
not sure how to just turn off the sound ? anyone ?

I don't believe you can. You can only mute it or you can turn off the complete MMI system. You can't just turn the stereo part of the system off, only mute.

Seriously ... there has to be more to this.
The radio is off when I shut off the car - it should still be off when I turn the car back on.
On my 335i, there was no "off" setting for the radio, just mute. At least it remembered that it was on mute when I turned the car back on.
