Radio comes on every time I start the car?

I checked the owners manual last night and it stated that if the volume is too high or to low, the volume will be reset to a default volume level when starting the car. I did not see anything that stated how or if you could set the default volume level. Maybe VAG?

Great thanks for this piece of info! This makes sense why my volume defaults back; I'll try muting it now instead when I arrive home in the evenings.
