Replacing rebar? rear bumper topic
Hi all, i posted awhile back some idiot hit my car while parked stationary (hit and run). Not much damage but some scratches and scuffs, otherwise nothing major). However, i took a look under the car and found that one of the rebar bars was slightly bent. I found the part online from a audi parts store for very reasonable price. DKKY996 also posted a very helpful DIY on removing the rear bumper. I was wondering if anyone had insight to if this is something i can do on my own as long as i remove the rear bumper? Or is there lots more work involved. My only thing is not sure how deep it is connected to the car, or if i have to remove the under panel as well.
I have circled the bars i am talking about, my bent one is the driver side.

Or i guess should i even bother replacing it? I inspected everything else and no other damage, everything else looks good except for the bar bent slightly.
