Required vehicle update 37F1 to Transmission Control Module

So I went to my dealer with TSB 2022599 in hand and said I wanted the 37F1 software update cause I have the old/original version. They called later and said that TSB does not apply to my VIN. That is, when they input my VIN into their system, no TSBs show up, so they won't upgrade the TCM software from some random printout a customer brings.
The shudder from 2nd to first, etc. remains.
2010 S4
last six digits of VIN are 020037

RVU 37F1 is a required update to the S-tronic transmission control module (TCM, not ECM) to "optimize gear shift comfort". Per Momentum Audi it will have no effect on performance since it does not alter the ECM, it should just make the shifts smoother. It was issued on October 30, 2009 and applies to 2010 S4 vins 003862-075320 and S5 Cab vins 005233-013475. It expires on December 30, 2012 and the dealer is requried to install this patch on all vehicles in dealer inventory prior to being sold. By the way, I'm reading this straight off the technical service bulletin since I had it done to my S4 on Monday. I've been tied up at work with visitors from Japan & haven't had time to test it, but from what little driving I've done I've seen no negative impact. I hope that answers some of the questions that are starting to pop up on the net.

That RVU is listed halfway down the page at https://www.eautorepair.net/app/TSBS...MDN=S4+Quattro
You have to pay for a subscription to read it apparently. (maybe ~$12?). Alternatively, you can try another dealer who may be more inclined to look up the RVU/TSB and see if the documentation lists your VIN as being included. Perhaps someone on the forum here has a printed copy they can share.
