I believe the B7 RS4 also had a system called Dynamic Ride Control which was a sort of active suspension able to adjust the shocks - I think the shocks diagonal to each other - to effectivley keep the car level during cornering. This, combined with the 40/60 split quattro, made for one very nice handling car.
