S4 (14 vs 15 B9??) or SQ5
My order is in for a 2014 black on black S4 however I wont return to the states and be able to take delivery until next July. That being said a buddy of mine asked me why I wouldnt just wait for the '15 model which id only have to wait another couple of months to get. i didnt have an answer.
I have seen some talk of an updated S4 (B9) and am certainly not fond of having the last model year of a car before its changed. Anyone have any insight into what 2015 may hold for the S4?
That being said i also recently priced out an SQ5. Seems it will be about the same money as the new S4. I realize its comparing apples to oranges but figured id see if anyone had any thoughts to share. I am thinking an SQ5 may be a bit more of a niche market and impact resale value however also realize it could be just the opposite....
thanks in advance for any opinions/feeback

Based on what I've been reading on this forum and others, it seems like the B9 will probably come out in mid 2015 as MY 2016. I don't think they will be changing much in terms of looks but may add a few minor features.
As for the SQ5, my cousin has an S-Line Q5 right now and an S4. Drove both of em back to back and the feel of the S4 was just amazing. Don't really know much about the SQ5 but your best bet would be to check em both out at a dealer and see which one you like the most.

when they start hitting the streets ill be curious to read some of the buyers feedback on the SQ5s. the S4s have always been awesome but there is something to be said for a 350hp crossover.

I got the last MY of the B8 generation (2012) and one advantage to it is that most of the recalls/issues from the previous model years have been resolved aka less problems to deal with.

True
This will be my 4th Audi so I may be a bit biased. I tend to feel Audi, nowadays, provides most bang for the buck. Smooth, sporty ride, great interior, sharp but not too flashy exterior and even mostly reliable. ill have to see if Porsche has any sort of military/oversees buying program. Seems unlikely but stranger things have happened.
