S4, good enough family car?

First of all , you can get an S4 decently equipped for around $52k-55K. An A6 can be had for the same price, depending on options. They both have similar engines, but the performance level of the S4 is higher. You can get by with the S4 as your primary family car, but the seating in the rear will be tight. You will definitely have more room in the A6 . It will have decent performance but is probably more suited to your situation. I would also consider the Q5.

Well our other car is a Range Rover Evoque and they fit fine. Just wanted to see if they could all fit in the S4; i guess i have to bring them to the dealership to see if i have check it off the list.

I have a 3.5 year old son and a 2 year old son and we take the s4 on long trips and the boys love it. I have never had three in the back though. Take the entire family on the test drive and see what they think. Good luck and lets us know what you decide.

You don't have to cross it off. If the family fits the Evoque, you simply have to use that when all 5 of you are together. If any one of you are left out, leaving 4 passengers, you will be fine in the S4.....

2 or 4 door Evoque? My wife is jonesing for one of these, and not sure about it with regards to space.

Its like a q5 but with just a bit more room in the boot.

5 door. Its a beautiful car and is pretty quick. Handles well!
