RSforce...If you have the means, as well as a regular daily driver, I'd say go for it. Not sure how the rest of the forum feels, but I know I'd give just about anything to have a 2010 R8 sitting in my driveway...

Thanks for the feedback AWC, just a thought, nothing is set in stone. I really do enjoy driving both vehicles. And recently just modding the s4 with stassis coilovers and exhaust, stratmosphere intake. The car is an entirely different beast! But the R8 is in it's league of it's own! simply amazing...

Any time, my friend. I'm sure you'll make a good decision. If theres one thing that I've come to believe, its that you only live life once, and if you have the means to make your wishes come true, you should do it. And, if your future does involve a shiny, V8 two seater in your garage, you better send me some pictures!

I didn't see a single Audi on the island (and we did a ton of driving). Every other car was a convertible Mustang.

(OP: sorry to thread-jack here)

I live in oahu, and there are quite a few audis. Mostly in the downtown area, although you mentioned about having visited Maui!

I've only seen a couple of R8's on the road in the past few months.

On Sunday I saw 2. I was taking my bike out of the trunk to go on a ride, when a black R8 came roaring down the road, and stopped at the intersection right in front of me. The sound of that exhaust alone almost made me mess my pants!

Then later in the day on way home, a V10 R8 drove past me on the freeway. One of the best looking supercars on the road today.

I'd say if you can afford it, go for it.
