Default S4 meets B8 Allroad

Just picked up our 2013 Allroad Moonlight Blue/Chestnut. The 2001 C5 Allroad remains in the stable.

It's a bit more compact that the C5 Allroad, but the A4 line has grown so much that it is pretty close. The cargo compartment is not as friendly to tall dogs because the roof line is so rakish. But with the 60 part of the 40/60 split down, you can still accommodate one child seat and two greyhounds. No heated steering wheel or heated rears seats, and the suspension isn't adjustable. But--it is quicker, quieter, and more refined than the C5 even though it lacks the sound of the V6. It's also much more fuel efficient. Even so, it feels plenty sporty, lighter than the C5, and the 8 speed tip is much more responsive than the old 5 speed tiptronic.

We're still keeping our C5 for dog duties, and I may use it more for my winter driving.

So far, it's positive. I think this will be one of those vehicles that we'll like more and more as the years pass.

Thanks,

Thanks! So far pretty nice. The new gen MMI and voice commands work better and give more options.

2013 allroad/Moonlight Blue, Chestnut leather, black headliner. Prestige/Sport Interior/Dark Brown Walnut/Rear Sides.

Will be posting some more pictures of the interior on the allroad board in a reply to someone looking for the color combo as soon as I get them uploaded.

Does the new MMI support album art for tracks from a SD card or an iPod/iPhone?

I'm not 100% sure, but per the MMI operation book, it looks like album art will only show if the files are loaded onto the Jukebox.

Do you like the refresh look better than the original B8?
