S4 and my Chocolate Lab

Just recently traded in my Audi A4 S-Line for a 2011 S4, and still can't get words to describe how impressive this car is!
My problem arises with my 5 yr old 125lb Chocolate Lab. The dog has gone with me to work everyday for the last 5 years. But I’m just a little reluctant to put him in this car. In my A4 I used bathroom mats on the seats, but don’t think I want to go this route with this car. My son has been taking him to the office for the last 3 weeks and it is starting to wear on his nerves (I know the dog controls everyone’s life) from not being with me.
Any recommendations on a good pet mat for this car? Also, I got my wife an Q5 at the same time, and would like something that I could put in her car as well.
Thanks for your time.

I have both that cover and a plushier one from Orvis. In extreme cases, my 90# lab sits on both, the nylon one beneath the Orvis one.
The Audi version covers the rear footwells, whereas the Orvis one does not.

A car is just a car, but your dog is family. That said, while I have not had my dogs in my S4, I have used Orvis and other covers in my SUV, and the rear seat looks better than the front ones the humans sit in. Get one that covers the entire cushion including sides and has velcro or some other means to cover the holes where the seat belt latches go. I have found that those holes are what allows most of the dirt through. Also make sure your cover is water proof. In my SUV I used two covers, a waterproof one on the bottom with a plush and comfortable one over it.

Anything that loops around both the front and rear headrests (covering the seats and footwell) will do the job. The back of my car is my 163 pound great dane's favourite place to be!
