Default S4 Owners in Florida please advise.

I live in Boca Raton, I just got a new s4 yesterday and I want to add tints to it mainly due to heat but I would also like a nice look to the car.

What place is good to go to? and which tints are the best and what % did you use on your car. Also did you do the front windshield with a really light tint? Thanks for the help. I love this car so far. had it under 24 hours lol

funny you should ask, I have been going to Boca Sun Control on NW 2cnd ave in Boca. Its close by to my work. I have done all my cars there for over 10 years now. Ownerhip has changed a couple of times with Juan and Chris now doing the work but they have been doing the work for atleast 5 years. They are pretty good

Next week i will be going there to tint the S4. I usually get the Formula 1 Tint in like a 15% (30% is too light). Its a higher grade than Lumar although Lumar now owns it. Juan does good work. Forumla 1 high grade isnt cheap. Its like $270 or something, but its the material that wont interfere with am radio reception and it last a long time. You can get the lower Formula 1 for like $175 (more or less) if you dont care about am radio interference and its still very good tint. The important thing his how meticulous they are and IMO, the are pretty good. I never claim anyone to be perfect but I have had good luck with Juan.

He did my 2007 Lex ls460, my 2009 ls460, my previous A4 and my lex LS430 like 6 years ago. I can get you their number tomorrow. I have the card in my car and I gotta call them to get the car in next week

I got 35% in the front 15% in the back and 80% on the windshield. The film I got, which is called Carbon XP, is supposed to reject a good amount of heat. Even the 80% on the windshield rejects almost half of the heat from sunlight according to what I was told.
I originally just got the side and rear done, but I do notice a difference in the amount of heat after tinting the windshield.
The 80% is barely noticeable, so I don't attract attention from police.

Got my tint/clearbra done through Autopaintguard and would highly recommend them, but they're in Tampa, so don't know how much that would help you

Do these guys know about the amp bagging for back rear quarters window? I read somewhere else Audi won't warranty the amp if you have tint...
