I went with the black and silver seats in the end; I had the same concerns as everyone here. I am REALLY glad that I ended up getting them, they provide a very unique fit and finish to the car that is very distinct to the S4.
I haven't had any issues with the seats in terms of staining from jeans, getting super dirty etc. I wipe them down maybe once a month. I don't have a family so I don't have kids with their drinks and soccer clothes sitting in them, if I did, black would definitely be a safer choice.
See this post for pics of my seats if you have an interest, not the highest of quality but you'll get the idea: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho....php?t=2773930

I ordered mine with the two toned seats, silver and black... From the pics, I'm sure glad I ordered it that way.... All black is fine, but the two tone looks more custom to me, and since it is an S4 options, sets the car further apart from the A4, which I think is a good thing

As for the unauthorized advertising, well unless you are a registered advertiser on the site, it's a no-no. Not that I would anyway (seriously, why would you need a new alternator on a new car unless you are doing some seriously crazy high amperage draw stuff?

I tend to agree when it comes to blk/silver and blk/red, but I have seen the blk/brown and I think it is much more of a subtle conrtast and less "gee whiz!" My preference would be to go with the carbon fiber interior trim: the darker tone of that trim keeps the interior from being too jukebox-like with two-tone leather . Other than the blk/brown I would personally go with all black leather. BTW - I find that in person the blk/sliver looks too much like blk/white. I feel the silver should be a richer or deepr silver. Especially on the door panels, the silver inserts look white to me. :-)
