what do you love / hate?
Am having issue with the V6T exhaust note and the S5 V8 back seat inaccessibility!
Thoughts appreciated!
S4 V8 was the best of both but good god the GAS!

S5 is much nicer looking however its like 5-7k more and not necessarily worth it for the price. The biggest issue I had with it is the bad MPG and the lack of rear seats space/ missing the 2 doors. The exhaust sounds much better and there is a lot to be said for a V8 but its also a LOT more more money to get the same gains too. $2500 gets you 108 whp and 80 wtq but it wont get you anywhere near that on the V8. Having said that you can add a supercharger to the V8 but its like $15k just in parts. Its a lot to consider. Taking tat all into account I still have a S4 and would get it again.

Extra 2 doors and the efficiency of the engine are the deal makers for the S4. I also read its better for casual tracking - more nimble.
Appreciate your thoughts.

Is the v6 not coming to the S5 like it already has in Europe?
Anyway, noise is better with the v8, everything else is better with the v6. It's that simple be it economy, emissions, out of the box performance, tuneability and the costs of tuning. You also get that magical S-Tronic gearbox instead of the dim-witted tiptronic.
