Default saw a SWEET B8 Avant S-Line...

priced at about $49K. Sheesh, for that money, I'd DEFINITELY make the reach to an S4, of course, that assumes the S4 Avant ever comes here.

Looked great though.

No B8 S4 Avant for the U.S., they only sold 400 of the B7 S4 avant... so AoA decided to skip

Let's also mention AoA also never advertised the avant lifestyle, thus giving very chance for sales.

Default long rooflne ftw.

yes, your golf clubs will fit in your trunk, but it's tougher for kayaks, some bikes, cargo boxes, etc.

you know, people having more fun than you...

Especially in PDX, land of the fully racked outback.

:-P

Default I'm on my 3rd Avant - for all those reasons, cycling, snowboarding etc.

try racking 3 bikes and a tandem on a SUV without a ladder. I've put up to four bikes, a tandem and wheels on my Avant. My wife also has no problem putting her bike up there as well. Plenty of room for 4 and gear.

Default Now that is impressive ...

I never bought a roof rack for my 9-3 Wagon because it was only intended to be a short term car. It was even shorter term than I thought because I turned it in Monday after 19 months!!!!

Anyway, I've got to look at a rack system for my new wagon (photo below). I think I will be a bit limited due to the new roof rail design. However, I really bought the car for the interior space.
