soljc is correct. The road hazard warranty is just that. It had to be purchased from the dealer on the day of sale only. It covers everything (including tires and wheels that you buy on your own later) but was quite expensive. I bought it and most likely will end up regretting it. But there's absolutely no doubt that it is extremely comprehensive.

Aftermarket rims and tires are also covered so long as "They are within the manufacturer specs". You can't go by 9.5" wide rims or anything like that. So long as you have 19x8.5's with 255/35 OR the 18x8 with 245/45 (not sure if I'm right on the 18's) then they will be covered.
Also, at purchase I was told that nails/staples/glass etc that punctures the tire is also covered. The coverage for me was provided by EasyCare through the dealer at purchase.

Just got back from the dealer today w/final pricing. The tire/wheel package was $699 - covers according to the flyer 'glass/debris/nails/potholes/metal'. Coverage is from R.O.A.D Intire, at 800-346-6469. I think I'm going for it when I go back from w/the checks.

Yeah the Audi package supposedly covers any damage to original and/or aftermarket tires and rims, I guess we'll find out because I came up about a milimeter short on a quick urban u-turn yesterday. So close!
