Seat Warmers
Is my car deficient in some way, or do these seat warmers just not get very warm? My other car will burn my *** on the highest setting. The S4 barely gets warm on 6, 1-5 are pointless.

I have seen others post with this problem but I have had no problem with my seat warmers. I assume the A4 and S4 warmers are the same... I put mine on 4 and usually have to bring it down to 3 by the time I get to work because its too hot. 6 will burn my butt off. If I have tons of layers on (which isn't too often in Dallas) it does take longer to feel the warmers and I do have to put them up higher but it eventually gets there.

Is it at all possible that this was changed in a software update? I could swear that last winter they were much warmer. I seem to recall using 4 rather than 6 because 6 was too hot, but that could be my brain inventing a memory.

Mine are similar...I mean, they do get pretty warm, but only in certain areas: it's weird. The seat stays cold toward my butt but the seat warms up pretty significantly toward my knees. IDK what's up with these warmers. My VW Jetta heats up in 1 minute to burning temps...

Very interesting, the differences here. With jeans on, I can't feel mine if it's below 5 or 6. Very wimpy compared to my wife's X5 that will burn your butt off if you have it any higher than halfway.
(it's also annoying that you have to push a button and turn a dial to set the seat warmers in this car - how hard is it to design a single control for this?)
