Default Should I bail on OEM 19" wheels?

It'll save me $800 I think, which I can put towards a tire/wheel combo of my own choosing. I'm going to have to buy AS or snows anyways, and I've seen a few pics lately of those 5-spoke wheels that were quite unflattering, although I liked them a lot at first.

wheels designated for the car should just bolt on, right? No monkeying around with spacers and whatnot?

what sez ye?

I did. I actually thought the 18"s were better looking.

LOL Everyone on the board already knows how I feel about the stock 19s. Heck, if they were easy to get on and off, I'd probably take them to bed and sleep with them every night!

That aside, I think you should follow your passion - which is probably to stick with the 18" so you can get the exact tire/wheel combo you want! You're already spending a chunk of change to get this car. You wanna feel good about that, right?

Well it's a decision in progress, I've never actually seen them in person, only photos, and as I said they didn't look exactly great in the last couple pics I saw. You really like them, though drrick? That counts for me. I don't really have a passion for one particular wheel at this point so I'm glad to hear that somebody loves the 19's.

The stock 18's are so boring. It makes the car look like a base A4. The 19's are the absolutely the way to go.

I absolutely love the 19's, I think they make the entire car come alive.

I think the OEM 18" wheels look better than the potato peeler OEM 19" wheels. I can always put the money toward a set of wheels I prefer, if I get tired of the 18" wheels.

I am going to change to all weather 18" tires anyway, for random trips to the Sierras.
