Did anyone else see audi was listed as one of the brands with planned siri integration. I think this would be great as it would allow iphone owners the ability to select music by track and alot more. However what are the odds of a software upgrade to add this to 09-12 and 13+ models?

That would be really nice. Ever since I got the S4, I barely use Siri in the car now as the voice integration is terrible. Some of the emails and text messages I dictate (then retype) are hilarious.

Based on Audi's record of not doing anything about the lack of Bluetooth music streaming in B8s despite admitting three years ago that they knew of the problem and would address it, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Siri on existing models.

I feel like they could add "siri" to the base menu of voice commands when the button is pressed. ask for "nav" and the car will activate the MMI nav, ask for "radio" and it will give radio, ask for "siri" and it will connect to iphone siri and all its functionality. It would be nice to be able to change from mp3s to pandora pause it for a sports score update send a text then go back to pandora all without having to touch the phone.
I hope they would consider making a software update backwards compatible, but I agree as mentioned above that given their foolish position on not upgrading the AD2P it is probably unlikely.
