nice vid! too bad they didn't choose one over the other. I think they are both great cars, but have different qualities. Hope they try this one again when the B8 S4 has a chip.

Thanks for sharing...nice review.
I'm surprised that they didn't mention the carbon build-up issue on the RS4.
I loved what he said about the Nav- reminded him of his ex-wife that would never shut up. Haha! Or that they had to give it more oil because it wouldn't shut up. I think that these warnings are ultimately a by-product of how auto makers are aligning their warranties and service intervals. With four year warranties and things like Audicare, it is in the corporation's best interest for you to take care of the car, which means they'll do everything they can to protect it from neglect![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Too bad they didn't pick one over the other. But it sounded like if neither owned one already and had to purchase one or the other, they'd both probably go for the S4 given all the factors.

Man I hate to admit it, but that freakin RS4 may be the most sexy 4 door on the planet (yes more sexy than my B8 S4). I'll tell you what. If they do a B8 RS4 and it has the subtle body styling changes as the 07 rs4, and it has killer performance, they might just get me to waste some more hard earned money... then again.. $70k is too much. might as well be looking for a used Gallardo.

Great vid/review.
The B8 S4 burns a lot of oil? Someone didn't break in properly, they said they had to add a quart after 1.5K miles? WOW. Ran mine to the 5K first service without a noticable drop in oil, call it as close to zero as you can.
The nitpick on the Nav and voice cueing - you can set that for short cues, but I have mine OFF. What more do you need besides a 3D lookdown 7 inch screen showing you where to go, and a mini turn by turn in the DIS? I'll listen to my music please!
