Thanks... I am actually really happy with the times. I still don't have the launch figured out, honestly. My best run I went through the first yellow beam and then used my left foot on the brake. Moved to the 2nd beam, and jabbed the gas pedal hard on the last yellow on the tree and dumped the brake.... I could tell the timing was a little off so with more practice it will get quicker.... Let the car shift itself at redline and just kept it stable and straight.... Shifts at speed are crazy and one run I had a 98 turbo TA next too me that made ground during gear but lost ground on the shift..... was very noticeable.... later Ron

Not sure if I explained it wrong or you misunderstood.... but all I am doing is holding the brake down with my left foot so the car doesn't go past the beams while allowing my right foot to already be on the gas but not depressing it, then as the tree goes down on the last yellow I stab the gas and "dump" or let off the brake at the same time. I am not flooring the car with the brake still depressed if that is what you are thinking. Basically, all this method is doing is allowing me to hit the gas faster since I am using 2 feet vs 1 to do both.... Don't see it putting any additional stress on the drivetrain. I'm interested how this tranny is going to hold up also... IMO dragracing isn't going to be what kills it... at least not until someone unlocks launch control if it truly can be unlocked so to say. later Ron

No worries there.... if it goes boom in the first 4 years it will get replaced under warranty with NO issues from the dealership. If it goes after than I will replace it.... you have to pay to play! LOL
